Excellent Faculties
The GSM is supported by the faculties from departments of Business Administration, Finance, International Business and Accounting. We are dedicated to recruiting top-tier faculty in the business and management fields. There are three famous professors, Dr. Paul S.C. Hsu, Dr. Chih-Kang Wang and Dr. Kao-Chao Li, in our teaching group. Besides, there are 68 professors in our team. The specialty of professors contain many different regions—finance, accounting, economic, international business, human resources, marketing and science management. Furthermore, some professors graduate from well-known doctoral program of university such as Michigan University USA Texas A&M University in USA, Ohio State University in USA, Columbia University in USA, Minnesota University in USA, California University in USA, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in USA ,Paris University in France, Manchester Polytechnic University in U.K. etc. They also have abundant teaching experience in famous management colleges around home and abroad. For example, Alabama University in USA, Kansas State University in USA, New York City University in USA, London Metropolitan University in UK, National University of Singapore, The Chinese University of Hong Kong ,National Taiwan University in ROC, National Chengchi University in ROC, National Chial Tung University in ROC, National Central University in ROC, National Chung Cheng University in ROC.

The key point of success in GSM derives from the professors' research atmosphere. In addition to research subsidy and performance reward of Yuan Ze University, the management college especially stipulates incentive institution about rewarding studies and training to encourage the teacher to be engaged in academy. The research results of our institute are very rich. Not only teachers of us usually get good achievement for passing rate of project, passing subsidy and research reward in National Science Council but also frequent visitor issued by the international top academic periodical or scientific seminar even more.

International Academic Environment Management
college of Yuan Ze University is only one college of nation to internationalize. The graduate schools of college have implemented teaching of English in course of master's class and recruited foreign students to achieve the international environment for learning since 2005. Since 2004, Management College also allot the funds to attract the foreign famous scholars and cooperate with professors of YZU to give lessons intensively. So we can expand the visual field of students.

Since 2004, Leading in the whole country we offer EMBA course which is “International competitive strategy in Harvard” by Michel Potter. In addition this course obtains the authorizations only more than 40 schools of the world.

However, study is not only the teaching of knowledge. So we extend the place that has a class from classroom to overseas and enterprises. We arrange to research and learning abroad and visit the famous overseas management colleges and enterprises two or three times pre year. These courses are welcomed by students. By join and visiting, let our EMBA students have opportunity to exchange information to other foreign EMBA students and understand indirectly local investment environment and characteristic. We have visited National University of Singapore, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Soochow University, Zhe Jiang University, Harvin Institute of Technology, City University of Hong Kong and Huazhong University of Science and Technology etc. Besides, we also visit Call Center of FETnet, Giant Corporation, Compal Electronics Corporation, Tomson Group, Shanghai Futures Exchange, Bank of CHINA, PetroChina Corporation, Singapore Mass Rapid Transit, UBS bank etc. Because students participated in enthusiastically, this course is one of our characteristic courses.

Elastic Course Plan
In addition to EMBA courses contain these obligatory subjects—organization, marketing, finance and strategy, we also focus on alternative and variety course. In aspect of designing course we increase proportion of optional course and students can choice by their interest and expertise.

Because we recruit new student by separating 6 groups, the students’ background are diversification. We can obtain very good achievement during the process of discussing because the students are from different industry.

In order to satisfy students we offered quite elastic choice in our class period. So we also open some the courses at Saturday morning and. In order to light students' pressure we open 3 or 4 courses during summer vacation. In order to keep quality on class we keep within 30 people in our class.

Furthermore, according to need of students we stipulate the credit is credited to the method. Students get credit of EMBA program in MCDSC before entering school to decrease the study period.

Diversified Activities
We will hold EMBA growth camp and explaining council for new students before the new term begins in summer vacation. By some actives such as group's contest and role play, let student learn how to improve leading ability. At the same time, we also improve collectivism and communicate ability by meeting each other which come from any place.

When the new term begins, we will hold many kinds of activity. In order to realize the different industry we arrange to visit enterprises and learning in every term. Besides, we also hold short run course to enhance the knowledge of social respect. We had held some activates such as International etiquette, ballroom dancing, golf, taste wines and so on.

Besides, we held EMBA thesis contest in academy respect every year. By this contest we can improve research atmosphere, level of writing thesis, ability of presentation. We especially held a warm and grand graduation ceremony for EMBA graduate. However, the relationship between school and graduate will continuous. We encourage the graduated students continue participating in our activities.

Complete Teaching Environment
The Graduate School of Management is located 6th building of YZU and owns seven EMBA exclusive e-classrooms, discussion rooms which are ideal for used by two or more students who want to work on class assignments together. We also support wireless environment to make students learning no limit.

The department manages one of best financial information laboratories in the country. The laboratory contains several state-of-the-art financial research data banks including CRSP, COMPUSTAT, Datastream, SDC, IBES, WSJI, TEJ, Dow Jones, Mergence Online, and LexisNexis. These data banks contain the transaction data on stocks, bonds and futures of the main countries in the world. In addition, information of financial reports, forecasts on surplus, mergers, start-ups and initial public offerings are also available in the data banks.
